The overhaul of the Lake Claire Recreation Area at UCF was recently completed (our Previous Post explains what work was completed). Here are a few photos of what’s new!
Not to be outdone by the expansion of the RWC, the Lake Claire recreation area is getting its own set of upgrades for the new year. The area is now fenced off and closed to the public, and crews were on site today working on the beginning stages of demolition and sitework.
New pavillions (heavy timber) will be built, along with 2 beach volleyball courts. A future phase will upgrade the boat house.
Wharton-Smith, who has done a lot of work on campus lately, is the General Contractor for this project. The project is projected to finish in April.
